Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County's awards reception, YOUR SMILE MATTERS: An Evening Honoring Leaders in Oral Health was a tremendous success with net proceeds just over $50,000 - a 78% increase over last year's event!
Celebrating the culmination of National Children's Dental Health Month and highlighting the need for better access to oral health care for kids in Orange County, over 200 guests attended the 3rd Annual event benefiting the USC/CHOC/Healthy Smiles Advanced Pediatric Dental Residency Program, a program founded with support from the Children & Families Commission of Orange County. Event Chair Marla Merhab Robinson and Board President Gary Van Arnam welcomed community leaders to the event held at the Discovery Science Center on Wednesday, February 27, 2008.
