Sandra Bolton, RN, JD
Executive Director
Sandra Bolton, RN, JD has served since December 2003 as the Executive Director of Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County. She has lived in Orange County most of her life and has been involved in healthcare and worked with healthcare community based organizations all of her career. Prior to assuming a leadership position with Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County, Sandra served as the Director of Operations for the Southern California region of Pediatrix Medical Group, a public company specializing in management of Neonatology and Perinatology practices. She previously has held positions as a hospital administrator, an associate attorney specializing in medical malpractice defense, and as a NICU registered nurse, and nurse manager. Sandra is currently on the Board of Directors for Maternal Outreach Management Systems (MOMS), serves on the Public Affairs Committee for March of Dimes, and is a member of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry. Sandra has a particular interest in achieving integration between the fields of medicine and dentistry – "A healthy mouth in a healthy body."

Rocio Núñez Magdaleno
Director of Program Development
Rocio Magdaleno has over 24 years in the community health movement and healthcare administration field. She has provided leadership, vision and collaboration skills to numerous projects throughout Orange County particularly focusing on the geographically isolated migrant Farm workers living and working in the region. She spearheaded the development of St. Joseph Hospital's mobile community clinic Puente a La Salud along with their numerous programs including; The Wellness Express older adults community clinic, Accessing Better Care for Diabetes (ABCD), Migrant Worker Occupational Health and Safety Program funded by the California Endowment Foundation, and Healthy Smiles oral health program for children ages 0 to 5 funded by the county's Children and Families Commission. Most recently she directed the design and implementation of an oral health collaborative of fourteen licensed community dental clinics. Besides serving on the board of directors of two community-based organizations, she is also a founding member of the Safe Healthcare Coalition of Orange County and currently serves as President.

Diane Limbo, RN, CPNP
Director of Health Integration
Diane Limbo, a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, serves as the Director of Health Integration for Healthy Smiles. In her position Diane works on educational oral health issues including having pediatricians integrate children's oral health examinations into a child's regular well care visit She came to Healthy Smiles after 4 years working for Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) as a Nursing Supervisor for their community clinics in Santa Ana. Before CHOC, she worked for Children's' Hospital of Boston and other hospitals and colleges in the Boston area. Diane is the president of the local Orange County National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Vice-President of the local chapter of the Society of Pediatric Nurses and a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nurses.

April Rudge
Manager, Community Relations
April Rudge is the Manager of Community Relations and is responsible for public relations, marketing, and grant management. She seeks to increase awareness about the critical need for greater access to oral health education and treatment for children in Orange County. A graduate of Claremont McKenna College, she is happy to return to Southern California. Prior to joining Healthy Smiles of Kids of Orange County, April worked as Outreach & Volunteer Services Director at a regional non-profit based in Austin, TX. In that role she developed and implemented the organization's outreach & marketing plan while managing the donor & volunteer programs. She has a special interest in serving diverse communities and has volunteered in Ecuador as a Health Educator and in Peru at a special needs elementary school. April's goal is to continually promote preventative health strategies and equip people with the knowledge to improve their health and healthcare.

Ambrocia Lopez, MA
Manager, Outreach & Education; Volunteer Program
Ambrocia Lopez, MA is the Manager of Education and Outreach and is responsible for the educational curricula, recruitment, supervision of oral health community outreach workers and volunteers who provide health promotion to children and their families. She grew up in an impoverished Latino neighborhood in Santa Ana. Despite all the obstacles that she faced, due to her socioeconomic status, she was able to obtain a college education with the help of community resources. She obtained a Masters of Education from the University of California, Irvine. She is inspired to improve her community because she knows the needs of the community. Her ultimate goal is to help improve her community through access to health care and education. Prior to joining Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County, she worked for the Coalition of Orange County Community Clinics as the Health Policy Analyst. In her role, she advocated for the uninsured and underinsured patients who received services from the community clinics. She is committed to improving the oral health needs of children in Orange County.
