Dental Director, Administrative Operations Non-profit Dental Organization

Seeking highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to implement defined business practices in an environment that seeks to match our goal of increasing access for underserved children in Orange County while maximizing financial sustainability through sound practices. Must be able to manage within a large and diverse team. Experience managing dental billing practices, particularly Denti-Cal, and experience with Dentrix preferred. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities will include overall day to day management and oversight of administrative operations of specialty clinic, hospital based clinic and mobile clinic. Direct responsibility for front office, billing & collections, transportation services, scheduling and general operations of all administrative activities. Position will collaborate with the Dental Director and Residency Director on all issues of clinical quality.

Fund Development Associate

Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County is a growing county-wide pediatric oral health organization seeking a dynamic, organized self-starter for the position of Fund Development Associate.

As part of the Fund Development team, primary responsibility is to grow & steward existing institutional and individual donor relationships, provide internal support for fundraising efforts, and to identify and cultivate new partnerships. Position will also provide support for public relations and marketing activities, including some content development for website and published materials. Fund Development Associate position offers opportunity for future advancement and increasing responsibility. Requirements:
1-3 years of fundraising experience preferred, with emphasis on cultivating donor relationships and writing grants; excellent written and verbal communications skills required; must be well-organized, flexible, and able to prioritize, multi-task and follow-through on assignments with little oversight. Bachelors Degree preferred; experience working with special events, soliciting grants, and marketing is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish also a plus, not required.
